XENA:
WARRIOR PRINCESS may battle the forces of good and evil, but she also has a
bit of a problem with Australia's Network Ten. Kiwi Lucy Lawless (above),
who plays Xena, was to have appeared on Network Ten's new travel program,
Holiday, but sent a legal team in to stop her reports from being screened.
Lucy's segments, filmed prior to her international fame as Xena, originally
appeared on the New Zealand version of Holiday a few years ago. She says she
would rather have attention focused on her more current projects, such as
returning to the saddle as Xena.
