Lucy was interviewed on New Zeland tv show "Today Live". A full transcript will be online soon. Small snippets from the interview (from Richard K who will be transcribing the interview): Everything she wears is New Zealand made - wears a fake leather skirt, black t-shirt, what looks like winter boots [unsure] and one of those long shells as a necklace. She's been back in NZ for about 3 weeks and will be going to the States in about 10 days time. Its a busy week for her this week. She's going to Marist Primary for a mini auction on Friday - then off to perform with Sir Howie and Temuera Morrison same night. Her favorite holiday spot is Auckland. And she wants people to buy those little teddy's this month. To contribute to the appeal and get a teddy go to: http://www.starship.org.nz/cg/Story?Action=View&Story_id=440

The following appeared in The Star June 12 page 44 ACtion Gals:
THere is a photo of Xena and the caption reads:

Lucy Lawless (Xena:Warrior Princess-Syndicated)
Voluptuous New Zealander Lucy, 33, was the spear-carrier for the new generation of women action stars - and the yardstick by which all others are measured. Sword-wielding Xena sliced and diced her way through a mystical medieval world from 1995 until this year. There'll be no new shows, but legions of fans will keep watching her in syndication. And the 5-foot-11 Lucy, who performed many of her own stunts, appreciates it all. "It's a 1-in-10-million chance of a lifetime," she says.
Many thanks to Beboman for the blurb

Happy Birthday to Lucy Lawless! The Flawless One turns 33 today.

Yesterday AOL featured Lucy (as Xena) on their site. "Girls Fight Back", the article discusses tough females in the media today. Xena was first on the list. There is a survey asking readers who would win in a fight. Xena is winning (well of course). Unfortunately only AOL members can participate.
