The actress lends her voice talents to Kiwi animated film Mosley, which opens in cinemas on October 10

My typical week...

I don’t have a routine except when I’m working. Then I am told what time to get up, what I’m wearing, when to eat and go home. I’m a slave to the schedule, but I love it.

If I could live off one food, it would be…

I love the taste of toasted nori. I would prefer seaweed to be the food of the future, rather than crickets. I used to feed crickets to the lizards my little boys had when they were growing up in Los Angeles. It was disgusting to have to feed the food to the lizards – and the smell made me gag. To this day, cricket bread makes my stomach turn.

My hidden talent is…

Whistling. My dad was a whistler and I adored him, so I guess I developed that skill early.

The person I’d most love to interview is…

Anthony de Mello, Indian Catholic priest and motivational speaker. He is a huge inspiration to me.

Video PSA: One in Five Charity

Lucy took part in an PSA for the Australian Charity One in Five:

Who is One in Five?

One in Five Australians are suffering from a mental illness. ONE IN FIVE wants to find cures for mental illness.  We want to turn One into None. One in five is different from all other mental health charities. We are the only ones that are 100% dedicated to raising funds for medical research. We believe research is the key to finding the answers, discovering better treatments and hopefully unlocking cures. As such, 95% of all funds raised go directly to our research partners. We are proud to support leading Australian mental illness experts at the Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health and Monash Health.

My Life is Murder Season 2 Update

Image637064700781135131UPDATE on the My Life is Murder Season 2 Renewal

There is a podcast about the Channel 10 upfronts that says that there may be a glimmer of hope that Channel 10 and My Life Is Murder are in negotiations which I posted yesterday (skip to the 33 minute mark for mention of My Life is Murder)

Overnight, My Life is Murder producer Claire Tonkin has tweeted an article link from IF Magazine which says

"The network tells IF no decisions have been made on the future of CJZ’s Mr Black and My Life Is Murder or Screentime’s The Secret Life of Four Year Olds."

So...it's up in the air at the moment. Watch this space kind of thing.

My Life is Murder Season 2 News

Image637063696588820557

Channel 10 (Australia) had their 2020 Upfronts (where they showcase all their new shows and returning shows on 10 October 2019.

Unfortunately My Life is Murder won’t be returning for a second season as it wasn’t mentioned in the upfronts. Maybe another channel will be pick up the show for the second season. Maybe Channel 10 intends to be bring the show back and announce it in 2020, but it looks as if we are not getting any more My Life is Murder. It’s a shame because the show really picked up steam and was getting into a groove. It didn’t help that it ran headlong into the Ashes Cricket and that Channel 10 just moved it around a lot with various timeslots.

The Australian site TV Blackbox podcast mentioned Lucy and My Life is Murder that it wasn’t mentioned in the upfronts and they speculated that it may be in negotiations.

You can listen to the podcast and the mention is right at the end around the 33 minute mark.
