In October 2008 Lucy sat for painter Marty Welch as he set out to create her portrait. This was featured on the show called The Sitting which went to air on 10 October 2008. All the portraits with Marty created from various celebrities were going to be auctioned off for charity.
TV One News in New Zealand had a news report about the auction and they also interviewed Lucy.
