Acting graduate Lucy Lawless is starring in the new hit TV series Spartacus: Blood and Sand.
The William Davis Centre for Actors’ Study was founded in 1989 by well known actor, director and teacher William B. Davis. It has been a landmark for actor’s study in Vancouver and is now part of VanArts.
Highlights of our 9-month full-time diploma program include:
-professional training in acting for both camera and stage, to widen your career opportunities.
-interaction with other VanArts departments (voice-overs for Animation, acting for Visual FX shoots, and professional headshots by Digital Photography)

I've often imagined what Angelina Jolie films would be like if they starred Lucy Lawless. Tomb Raider was in a manner envisioned for the Kiwi television icon-it's a film based on a video game character, who was in turn inspired and made possible by the groundbreaking heroine Lawless created the year before in the syndicated television epic Xena: Warrior Princess.
