The Sunday Star Times has an article about how kiwis should go vegetarian for the sake of the planet according to a United Nations environment scientists.
In the article they list three Kiwi celebrities who are vegetarians and also high profile advocates for the environment. Lucy is listed as one of them.

The call to eat less meat has already been taken to heart by many Kiwi celebrities – some of whom have become high-profile advocates for the environment. Actors Robyn Malcolm and Lucy Lawless are vegetarians and active campaigners for animal rights and Greenpeace. So too are Shortland Street star Angela Bloomfield, comedian Jaquie Brown and Kiwi singer Hayley Westenra.
