Lucy has been interviewed by the Melbourne (Australia) newspaper the Sunday Herald Sun on 30 March 2014 about the upcoming Supanova expos which will be held in April in Melbourne and on the Gold Coast.

Lucy reveals she is writing a one woman play plus there is a hint of a tv series Rob is planning. Click on the scanned article for the full size version.

ICONIC actress is headed our way.

Thirteen years after her show Xena: Warrior Princess ended, Lawless will appear at Supanova on the Gold Coast this weekend.

Since Xena finished 13 years ago, Lawless has been busy, on and off the screen.

As well as starring in Parks and Recreation and Spartacus, she was arrested in 2012 for tying herself to a Shell oildrilling ship as part of a fourday sit-in Greenpeace protest.

“We’re not destructive people and there was no selfinterest in it,” she said.

Thankfully, Lawless was only fined and is free to come and meet her Australian fans.

LUCY Lawless has issued a challenge to fans who come to meet her at the Supanova Pop Culture Expo at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre next weekend.

“Come up with a question to ask me that no one has asked me before,’’ she laughs.

“That’s my challenge to my Queensland fans.’’

Lawless, star of cult TV shows Xena Warrior Princess, Battlestar Galactica and Spartacus, remains a relative newcomer to the fan convention circuit.

“The question everybody wants an answer to is, ‘ Will there be a Xena movie?’ I wish I had the answer,’’ she says. The Kiwi actress played the butt-kicking leather-clad warrior princess for six seasons from 1995 to 2001.

“From where I stand, it becomes a case of “would you hurry up now and decide, one way or the other. Five years from now, I’ll be 50 and the idea of bringing Xena back as she was seems just a little bit bizarre – don’t you think?

“I love Xena, I really do – the character I mean, rather than my own part in it. The characters, the world they hail from, the ideals and principles Xena and (sidekick) Gabby stand for should go on.

“The thing I have learned about the fanbase is that it has a lot of heart and the people really took the show to their hearts,’’ she says.

This morning I received an email from Moshtix, the ticket site for the Supanova events in Melbourne and the Gold Coast. They cancelled the Fan of the Arena tickets ($250) that featured Lucy and Manu Bennett.

Further to the cancellation, here is the latest update.

Lucy has confirmed (via her official site) that she will not be in Melbourne on Sunday 13 April but will be there on Friday (11 April) and Saturday (12 April).

The Gold Coast schedule for 4-6 April 2014 has not changed.

Manu will not be at the Melbourne or Gold Coast Supanova events and Lucy will not be at the Sunday day at the Melbourne Supanova.

Due to extended filming commitments, Manu Bennett will no longer be able to attend the Gold Coast and Melbourne expos.

Subsequently, Supanova have been forced to cancel the 'Fan of the Arena' and 'Middle Earth Magic' tickets, as there is no longer sufficient time to find a suitable replacement for Manu.

Customers will be refunded immediately with funds being returned to the original credit card used to purchase the tickets.

Here’s an update from the Supernova organisers for the Melbourne Supernova event. This only affects Sunday 13 April and not the other days:

Unfortunately Lucy Lawless will be unable to attend on Sunday (April 13th) in Melbourne. Her participation is otherwise unaffected meaning fans will still be able to see Lucy Friday nights for her Preview Nights Q&As, Saturdays including VIP Parties in both cities and Sunday on the Gold Coast.

Lucy's Q&A remains on Sunday on the Gold Coast but will now move to Saturday in Melbourne so that fans unable to make Friday night don't miss out.

The kids’ accident would have remained a mystery if it weren’t for Ned and Jesse Banks – a young internet journalist desperate for a break, and his troubled hacker brother on a strict good-behavior bond.

Ned and Jesse are gifted a poisoned chalice when a phone video of the outback accident arrives in their in-box. And posting it on-line will cost them more than they ever imagined. Together, they suddenly become the unlikeliest crusaders for democracy.

The decision to dig deeper drags the brothers into the darkest heart of politics, and the web of black marketeers and the international agencies who monitor and manipulate them.

International Women's Day (IWD), also called International Working Women's Day, is marked on March 8 every year. In different regions the focus of the celebrations ranges from general celebration of respect, appreciation and love towards women to a celebration for women's economic, political, and social achievements.

Here is the first batch of photos taken by Dan Sloan of Lucy at the 2014 Ella Awards on 20 February in Los Angeles. Lucy sang with Mike Love.

In January 2013 Lucy participated in the new Reality TV show called “Dine and Dash” and there was news and photos released at the table. Those present included Lucy, Joe Carnahan, Kate Walsh, Matthew Aaron, Common and Dermot Mulroney at Scarpetta Beverly Hills.

There was a series of tweets between the hosts and Lucy but no mention about what the dinner was about until they released the photo on their official Facebook Page to officially announce the guest list.

It seems the show has now been picked up by a UK company. See the video below. There is no sound. The clip features Lucy at the table with the other guests.
