There has been some changes to the Pleasuredome FAQ (which is below) – one of the major ones is the VIP Tickets which used to cost $255 to $300 no longer available. There was some major issues with the food etc so I’m glad they didn’t continue with this. In it’s place is you can order from the tables at $20 a head. A nice compromise there.
This is one hell of a great show and a super night out – grab your friends, find those legwarmers and boogie on down to 1984! You can check out my review of the show if you are not convinced (seriously? Lucy’s in it. Lucy’s singing and the ENTIRE cast is absofrigginlutely awesome.) The entire thing from the moment you pass through the subway doors leading to the New York street it’s AWESOME. I need to find a thesaurus to get more words that mean BLOODY FANTASTIC. You get the idea. Not sure what Lucy’s role in the show is? Lucy's role is Sappho in Pleasuredome Musical head on over to AUSXIP Lucy Lawless Pleasuredome subsite!
Getting to and from the venue is pretty easy. Taxis are available at night right outside the door and it didn’t take me long at all so that a great addition. Uber you also get a discount.
Where do you get tickets? Tickets can be bought from Ticketek NZ

"Pleasuredome is the best show of 2017" - Newshub
Starring: Lucy Lawless, Moses Mackay, Ashleigh Taylor, Vince Harder & Stephen Lovatt
Pleasuredome isn't solely a musical - it's a time warping, booty-moving, sensory assaulting entertainment experience!
Located just 10 minutes from Auckland's CBD, you'll be transported to not only a different place - but a totally different time. Walk through a subway and find yourself on a New York City street where hot-dog vendors, fully functional bars and photo opportunities atop 1980's Police Cars await. Cheers to the good times and explore everything this street-scape has to offer before venturing into Pleasuredome the nightclub!
Lucy Lawless plays 'Sappho', club owner who is nursing a nasty cocaine habit and trying to stop the place that represents pride, acceptance and freedom from being demolished. Sit back and relax - or don't and dance as some of the best drag queens, dancers and voices bring the story of love, passion and doing what's right to life through the best hits of the 80's!
After the show the streetscape stays open 'til late, and how you embrace it is up to you - at the discretion of the NYPD, of course.
"Just when you think the experience is over, think again!" - Newshub
