Xena: Their Courage Changed Our World Book Trailer

I'm heading to the Xenite Retreat and I have quite a few surprises for those who will attend my panel about How Xena Changed Your Life which of course is what the upcoming Xena: Their Courage Changed Our World book/s are about.

Those lucky bods have the first look at the content of books but not to leave anyone out...here's a snippet. This is a HUGE collaborative work in progress - 40 Xenites are working on writing their chapters (I'm not kidding) + Xenite submitting their stories, artwork, video etc. Have a look. Are you excited yet?

Credits: Music by Cheyne Curry, Illustrations by Lucia Nobrega and I had the fun job of putting it all together (I just LOVE my job)

Lucy Sings "Our Hearts Are Hurting" For Christchurch Terrorist Victims

The terror never ends. Over 40 people were murdered in Christchurch, NZ by a Right Wing Terrorist. Over 40 people who that day did nothing wrong but go to a Mosque to pray. There are no words to adequantely convey the horror and loss. Lucy posted her singing "Our Hearts Are Hurting" which is (unfortunately) appropriate.

Christchurch Terrorist Attack Update: I've been looking into how Xenites can donate to help the families affected by this horrific attack.

AUSXIP will be helping raise funds via the AUSXIP Charity Auction during our annual charity auction in September - a portion of the money raised will be donated on behalf of the Xenaverse for the families. If you would like to donate for the fundraiser, contact me or see me at the Xenite Retreat to discuss it.

Until then, there are several ways you can help right now:

Xena Included In 12 Cancelled TV Shows We'd Love To See Revived - IGN

12 CANCELLED TV SHOWS WE'D LOVE TO SEE REVIVED

BY MATT FOWLER For better or worse, everything old is new again. Reboots are nothing fresh in Hollywood, but it's only recently that TV's caught a severe case of revival fever - bringing back old hit shows with all, or most, of the original cast intact.

A Xena: Warrior Princess reboot, or revival, or reboot-quel, has been a part of the ongoing rumor mill for a decade now - ever since star Lucy Lawless started having high-profile TV gigs again (Spartacus, Marvel's Agents of SHIELD, Ash vs. Evil Dead).

The pilot script for a failed 2016 reboot was even released online, with writer Javier Grillo-Marxuach's approval, last year. It's crystal clear though: Fans want this character back, whether she's played by Lawless in a revival or some new face in a rollicking retelling. A Xena comeback is long overdue.
