Lucy attended the Sacred Heart College as a special guest at 2012 Arts' Ties Assembly on 24 July 2012 according to the school site:
Arts’ Ties are awarded to boys who have made a significant contribution to the Arts at Sacred Heart College. The recipients need to have proved their talents outside the classroom and across a number of activities. They are awarded their ties at a special assembly; this year the special guest was Lucy Lawless. Jacob O’Callahan, who was presented with his tie in 2011, also starred singing a number by the band Fun.
