Joe LoDuca is once again at the helm and you know it will be amazing PLUS you  have the added bonus of Lucy doing some of the vocals.

Ash, our hero finally has his theme, a retro-lone gunman-with-a-chainsaw voiced on baritone guitar,” described LoDuca. To achieve this “I played a one-man 70’s rock band on some of the tracks. Fortunately, I also had a full orchestra and chorus on the music that appears on the album [with] Lucy Lawless and Gia Warner on vocals, and Rayse Biggs on trumpet [who] graced a few of the tracks.”

New Zealanders rally to global People's Climate March call for action including Lucy on 28 November.

Actress Lucy Lawless, who is known for her long association with Greenpeace, was also at the Auckland march.

"My son ... this morning I was saying come on let's go to the march and he says I don't want to go because this is not my doing. This is not my doing, your generation's done it and I said well that's a really powerful message son, you have to come."

She's an on-screen queen, while he's the powerhouse producer working behind the scenes. Lawless is best known world-wide for her title role in TV series Xena: Warrior Princess – a show created by her hubby, Tapert, whose producing credits are many. Lucy made a guest appearance in the Basement Theatre production of Jesus Christ Part II  on November 28. It seems the part of Jesus is being rotated by guest actors and it was Lucy's turn to be crucified (has anyone counted how many times the characters Lucy has played have been crucified? It must be a record). This time she played Jesus.

REVIEW

Part of the Review on NZ Herald says:

On the night I attended, Lucy Lawless struggled to take advantage of the improv opportunities that were hurled at her but established a winning presence as she displayed a fine singing voice and a facility with accents.

The four-person core cast delivers powerful musical numbers with lyrics by Thomas Sainsbury that are witty and at times provocative. There are sharp observations on what the Son of God might offer a world where struggle is defined by cellphone issues, gluten intolerance and frustration about internet speed.

Audiences should be warned there is some seriously X-rated material as Mary Magdalene fantasises about her relationship with Jesus, but the emotional crux of the show comes with Gareth Williams' surprising take on Judas debating with the apostles about betraying Jesus.

The first 5 episodes will be able to be seen from 1 December and then followed by a new episode every week in the 10 episode season 1.

Ash vs Evil Dead episode 5 live online: Will Ash save Kelly from demon Eligos?

Ash vs Evil Dead will soon return with another thrilling episode for fans. They can expect more revelations about the Necronomicon and Kelly's current situation as she is possessed by the demon Eligos.

The official synopsis of episode 5 titled The Host reads: "Kelly's current state puts others in jeopardy. This forces Pablo to make a brave move and Ash to reveal a new side to his character. Ruby and Fisher join forces in pursuit of Ash."

Click here to watch the second episode live on Starz's official website in the US. The series begins 30 years after the 1992 blockbuster Army Of Darkness, the third movie in the Evil Dead series.

In the previous episode, Ruby saves Amanda from Evil Lionel and reveals that she is in town with a secret mission to avenge the death of her father Professor Knowby, mother and sister. She thinks that Ash is responsible for their deaths. Thirty years ago, Ash recited some of the phrases of the demonic book causing the deadites to enter the world and wreck havoc on humans.

In a shocking revelation, she shows the severed hand of Ash that she has kept locked in a wooden chest all these years. She also tells Amanda that the wriggling hand will play an important role in taking revenge on the aging Lothario.

“Ash vs Evil Dead” Clip: Ash’s Decomposed Hand Points the Way! (Exclusive)

I hope you guys are keeping up with “Ash vs Evil Dead” on Starz.

This past Saturday we saw Ash (Bruce Campbell) go on an insane trip, which reveals sidekick Kelly (Dana DeLorenzo) is possessed by a demon. But the biggest moment is when Ruby (Lucy Lawless) reveals that she’s in possession of Ash’s hand that he lopped off 30 years prior in Evil Dead II. The was the first time the show has actually connected back to the original films in the series, and it was welcomed with open arms. There was also the tease that Pablo (Ray Santiago) is crafting a brand new hand for Ash, which has me wondering if we’ll eventually see an amped up chainsaw like in the awesome Evil Dead video game (a circular saw, baby!).

Looking ahead to next Saturday’s “Ash vs Evil Dead” Ep 105, ‘The Host,’ Ruby and Fisher join forces in pursuit of Ash. How do they find him? Well, they let Ash’s lopped off hand point the way!
