LAWLESS STAYS CLOTHED

Auckland - Lucy Lawless, the NZ actress hailed as a role model for women and a feminist icon in her role as Xena the Warrior Princess, has appeared in Playboy with her clothes on.

She is interviewed in the latest Australian edition of Playboy, talking about Wonderbras and breastplates.

Lawless, pictured lying face down in a body stocking, told the magazine that she was blessed to be raised in NZ where women were granted the vote before any other country.

She praised her mother and said NZ women are strong with a get-on-with-it attitude.
